Brand Review: Rhode Skin By Hailey Bieber

From their viral phone cases to their skincare products, it is evident that Rhode has taken the beauty industry by storm with their innovation. As a fan of Hailey Bieber and someone who had followed her modelling career, it felt fitting to see Bieber release a skincare brand as I have always associated her with clear, glowing skin: something we all want to achieve.

I have tried almost all of the products from the Rhode range, and many have become staples in my skincare routine.

My favourite product from Rhode is undoubtedly the peptide lip tints. I bought the shade Ribbon several months ago, and within 2 days of the product's arrival, I had purchased all available colours of this lip tint. I am very particular about lip products because I dislike the overly tacky texture of many lip glosses, and I adore the texture of the Rhode lip tints. The key ingredients of this product include shea butter, peptides and various emollients that give the lip treatment a lightweight yet hydrating texture. The tints provide a subtle colour payoff, ideal for everyday usage.

The recently released Rhode phone case allows easy access to my favourite lip product. Initially, I felt that the phone case was a bit too large and impractical, but after time, I grew to love this case. It is undoubtedly a conversation starter, and I am frequently questioned about using this case. The only negative I have to say is that the phone case rarely fits in my purse, so I carry my phone in my hands much more. Personally, it doesn't bother me, but it is something I am sure some would find unpleasant.

Regarding skincare, I enjoyed using the Barrier Restore Cream as it was excellent under my makeup and felt hydrating and lightweight for everyday wear. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Peptide Glazing Fluid simply because I thought it didn't do much for my skin's hydration, though it is the product's purpose. I much preferred the Glazing Milk as a hydrating skin treatment, as I could see a noticeable difference in the dewiness of my face after using this product. Unfortunately, I could not try the Pineapple Refresh cleanser due to my inconvenient pineapple allergy, but I have heard only great things about the cleanser.

Overall, I highly recommend trying the Rhode range. The brand theme fits Hailey Bieber's image and is also high-quality skincare.
